It might sound strange to you but proper running shoes are your first step into the wonderful world of barefoot and natural running. More about shoes
Three months ago we announced a new addition to our super test line. Salming Distance Shoes, men’s model, were to be thoroughly tested and the expectations were high. Did they meet them or even exceed them.
The expectations were to find the Salming Distance quick, light and responsive, suitable for almost every terrain and with no major flows in design.
We tested the shoes in all conditions and run in them for more than 200 kilometers on wet and muddy ground through the woods on grass and on the paths. All in all shoes performed very well and were a joy to run in.
Salming is a Swedish sports equipment manufacturer. They are well known in the world of Field hockey and floorball for the high quality of their products. Recently they ventured into the waste area of running. Their first models are impressive in several aspects.
We have an opportunity to test their Distance Male model. It is our newest addition to the super test line and I personalty am looking forward very much to run in them.
We announced yesterday that ALDI International stores will offer shoes from Crane brand which are supposed to be ultralight.
As I was pleasantly surprised with their previous offer of Crane Barefoot shoes I ran to the nearest shop (almost) first thing this morning. I took the shoes in size 43 for 24,99 Euros. Cheap enough but how about the value for your money?
Recently we reviewed Crane Barefoot running shoes and we were quite impressed. Especially when you count in the price tag.
Aldi / Hofer chain of shops will add to their running line products on May the 8th 2014. They dubbed the shoes Crane Ultralight. All we can say for now is that the price will be extremely attractive again. They will be sold for 25 Euros.
Thanks to a friend of mine who is also an ultra runner I am a proud owner of new pair of minimalist shoes. Crane Barefoot look strangely familiar.
After Matjaž told me that these shoes are a part of weekly offer at Hofer stores I run to a nearest outlet and got myself the last pair of size 43 shoes. For a good measure I took another pair in size 39 for my wife. It is almost like buying your daily loaf of bread. Why? Because they cost 18 Euros.
Would you like to have a light almost glove like shoe with enough upper protection to keep your feet reasonably warm and dry in Winter conditions? You can have it. It is called Sonic Glove and comes from Merell.
